There is no longer anything to pay for
WarnLedger was offered for a short time as a paid weekly subscription. That product is discontinued. No subscription is being sold, no card is collected, and nobody was charged.
If you got an email from us about a monthly subscription, the offer is withdrawn. We wrote to a small number of firms before we found that a better resourced publisher already gives away more than we were proposing to sell. Continuing to ask for money for it would have been dishonest, so we stopped.
Everything on this site stays online and free: the weekly file, the per-state pages, and the sample rows. About forty states, refreshed weekly, with the gaps named rather than hidden.
If you need more coverage
These two publishers cover more ground than we do. We have no relationship with either and receive nothing if you use them.
WARN Firehose
All 50 states, updated daily, with a free tier, plus several other labor datasets in the same schema family.
NewBizRadar
New business registrations across all 50 states, for anyone who came here looking for company formation signals rather than layoffs.
Questions
Is the data still updated? Yes. The weekly run keeps going and the state pages keep rebuilding from it, at no charge.
Do you sell contact details? No, and we never did. Company-level fields only.
Why keep the site up at all? It costs nothing to host and the per-state pages are useful on their own.
