WarnLedger

Every public WARN layoff notice, one schema, every week.

State agencies publish WARN notices in dozens of formats: PDFs, spreadsheets, HTML tables, portals. WarnLedger collects them each week and delivers one clean file: company, location, headcount, notice date, effective date, closure and temporary flags, with a per-state freshness line so you know exactly what is current.

Coverage this run: 35 of 44 attempted states current as of Aug 30, 2026. Gaps this run: KS, MS, ND, VT. Per-state detail.

What you get

Weekly CSV + JSON

One file per week, every covered state, deduplicated by a stable hash so re-sent or amended notices do not double count. Same columns every time.

Freshness you can see

Every shipment carries a per-state status: current, source not updated, blocked, or parser error. We never pad a gap with old rows.

Company-level only

Employer, site, headcount, and dates. No worker names, no HR contact details, nothing about individuals. That boundary is fixed.

Who uses it

Outplacement and career-transition firms that need to reach an employer before the effective date. Regional staffing and recruiting firms that hire the affected workforce. HR-tech and benefits sales teams that sell to companies in transition. Researchers and reporters who want a normalized series instead of 40 state sites.
